Life is stressful, and one of the first places it pops up in our body is our back and shoulders. Workers sitting at desks, students carrying backpacks, moms and dads carrying littles, and it’s no wonder so many people complain about back pain. While it would be wonderful to just get a bunch of massages all the time, that’s not an option for most of us, so I figured I’d share my second-favorite way to relax those stressed-out shoulders.
1/2 cup coconut oil
4 drops Copaiba Young Living Essential Oil
4 drops PanAway Young Living Essential Oil Blend
2 drops Peppermint Young Living Essential Oil
4 drops Lavender Young Living Essential Oil
If you have access to a kitchen mixer, whip the coconut oil on medium or high speed for about 5 minutes or until fluffy. Then stir in the essential oils, and store in an airtight container (I use 4oz mason jars). Gently rub onto stiff muscles as needed, and enjoy the delightful de-tensing effect.
